THS Needs Your Help: PULSE PGH Fellow Campaign
PULSE Pittsburgh Fellowship Campaign
May 15, 2017 – June 15, 2017
Interested in helping raise funds to support community education in historic theatres? Then the Theatre Historical Society of America’s PULSE Pittsburgh Fellowship is THE program to support!
THS has an exciting opportunity to work with the Pittsburgh Urban Leadership Service Experience (PULSE) to invite one (1) talented university graduate to partner with THS for a year of service and leadership. The PULSE Pittsburgh Fellow will help THS build an education curriculum for theatre history by making use of our vast archive collection to engage a larger community of theatre lovers!
The cost of a PULSE Pittsburgh Fellow for 1 year is $16,000 – all funds raised go directly to this fellowship.
Over the next 30 days, THS invites its members, friends, hobbyists, theatre lovers, and friends to join us in raising the $16,000 necessary to support a PULSE Fellow.
Every donor of $15 or more will receive our new “Historic Theatres Matter!” button.
Plus, every person who sets up an individual fundraising page and raises $500 or more will be entered into a drawing for a free 2018 Conclave package which includes registration and hotel!
With your gift to the THS Pulse Pittsburgh Fellowship program, you become a philanthropic change-maker. Cinema has been a significant contributor to American culture and your donation will help to celebrate the rich history and stories of American theatres as a valuable piece in our community’s cultural heritage.
