The Byham Theater
Formerly the Fulton Theatre, a movie house from 1930 through 1995, the Byham Theatre hosted the premier of George Romero’s “Night of the Living Dead” on October 1, 1967.
The Byham originally opened as the Gayety Theater in 1904 with vaudeville and burlesque shows.
Rick and Ann weigh in on why its important to save historic theatres – it’s more involved than you might think.
A very special thanks to Ann Urwin from the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and to The Byham Staff.
