During the 1920s, there was a boon of theatre construction, with circuits competing to whet the entertainment appetites of the American public. While this looks like an incredibly lengthy theatre, it actually represents the integration of movie-going in commercial shopping districts. This long building would have been full of storefronts, with the theatre and its marquee adding to the customer base and visual appeal.
