The Tiniest Cinema in the Solar (Powered)  System

A red carpet, usherettes, and popcorn make The Sol Cinema a true theatre experience.

Imagine an intimate theatre experience with 7 of your closest friends…literally. And imagine that cinema coming to you!

If you’re in the UK, you’re in luck! The Sol Cinema is a unique mobile cinema designed from a vintage camper.

The Sol Cinema seats 8 to 10 people.

Powered entirely by solar energy, the theatre seats up to 8 adults or 10 young people.

Turning the sun into fun!

Designed for showing short movies in a cozy setting, The Sol Cinema is available for events, parties, festivals, corporate engagements, cosplay parties, and more. It’s even been used to host intimate discussions with actors and moviemakers.

The cinema is available for parties and events of any kind.

Just like a full-sized modern cinema, it uses and LED projector with surround sound and features plush cinematic surroundings.

The projector is housed in a 1920s light fixture.

Photovoltaic panels harness the sunlight, even as the films are being shown. Batteries store the energy from the sun to power the cinema all day and night. The cinema also has a solar generator to store renewable energy.

The cinema runs solely on solar energy.

The plush interior harkens back to the day of the Movie Palace. You’ll find velvet upholstery with tassels, a red curtain, and even a ceiling painted to look like the sky.

Besides experiencing the look of an authentic classic cinema, audiences are treated to a full “cinema experience” including a red carpet, ticket booth, usherettes, and of course, movie snacks!

A team of experienced performers who add a fun dimension to the cinema experience, the company is based in South Wales and can travel anywhere in the UK, Ireland or EU, or indeed the World—if the price is right.
