While these glass slides offer a glimpse into the domestic marketplace of the past, they also shine a light on the extinct industry of glass slide production, itself. With these three slides we see the Columbia Slide Company of Chicago, the American Photo Slide Company of Los Angeles, and the Tom Phillips Slide Co. of Chicago.
