The Chicago Architectural Photographing Company was founded in the late 1800s existed until 1973. The Theatre Historical Society has the theatre portion of their collection, which numbers around 1,000 photo negatives, about 200 have been scanned. Thanks to a grant from the Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation, we will be scanning the remainder of this collection within the next several months
